About

It usually comes as a surprise that prior to 2020 Robert spent most of his professional years as a ski instructor. A drastically changing climate encouraged a drastic change in profession. Moving from one passion to another Robert now works full time as an artist. Working mostly in monochrome he likes to obsess over the details in his subjects using negative space and expression to provoke emotion.

Roberts love for wildlife has a constant presence in his work with most of his pieces having a conservation theme, donating a % of profits from each sale to a relevant charitable organisation. Although Robert’s career as an artist is very much in its infancy, he’s already making waves in the wildlife art community.

In his first year as a professional artist Robert won awards at the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the year competition and has been featured in BBC Wildlife Magazine.
