Meet Albion, a White Tiger whose quiet strength and piercing gaze stayed with me throughout the drawing process.
I first started sketching Albion a while ago, after a visit to the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent. Something about seeing these animals up close—their sheer presence—stayed with me. But it wasn’t until recently, with two rescued cats often curled up in the studio watching me work, that I finally felt ready to finish him. Their company brought a new kind of calm to the process, and it felt like the right time to return to Albion and give him the attention he deserved.
He was drawn in charcoal, to capture the depth in his expression and the softness in his fur. It’s one of the most detailed pieces I’ve completed, and one I kept coming back to, adding to it slowly until it finally felt finished.
These Giclée prints are produced on archival Hahnemühle Museum Etching 310gsm paper, chosen for its beautiful texture and ability to hold even the softest marks.
Each framed print comes float mounted in a black or white box frame.
